Sanctuary gridster

Sanctuary gridster for Windows is an academic prototype made for my thesis, where I had the task of demonstrating that a desktop application aesthetic, in this case Windows 95, can be considered an additional variant within the retro spectrum.

Inspired by real life software like Napster, its gameplay is based on another prototype i did in the past, Benjamin Diamond Collection.  Although it's been simplified to the point that I do not recommend playing that prototype, at least, not after playing Gridster.

Now,  to answer the header's question, what is gridster? 

Well, it's a short rhythmic prototype where the player must select one of the three available songs, defend the grid on beat with the rhythm and achieve the best possible ranking.

It's a simple game but it will demand your attention and test your reflexes!

Once you're ready to start grooving you'll have three options to pick!




Each song has it's own difficulty, so make sure to pick the right choice for you.
